If a repair doesn’t hold, it wasn’t really a repair. So we look for what’s actually causing the leak instead of just covering the spot that’s easiest to reach. We use the right materials and install them properly, so the next rainstorm isn’t a reason to worry.

It depends on system size. Per EnergySage, a 10 kW home system runs roughly $24,000 to $28,500 after federal incentives, and local subsidies can lower that further. Prices have dropped a lot in recent years. See our solar panel cost guide for the full breakdown.
For most homes, yes, over time. You own your power instead of renting it from the utility, which hedges against annual rate increases of around 6% and can raise your home’s value. We’ll show you the long-term numbers before you commit.
There are federal and state solar incentives, and they change over time. We give you up-front information about what’s currently available and how it affects your price. Our solar rebates page has more.
Most homes with decent sun exposure are good candidates. We look at your roof’s age, orientation, and your energy usage. If your roof is near the end of its life, we’ll recommend replacing it first.

It starts with a free energy review and a custom system design, followed by permitting (which we handle) and installation in careful stages, fitted without damage to your roof.
Yes. Solar panels actually run efficiently in cold, sunny weather, and Utah gets plenty of sun. Snow typically slides off the smooth panels, and any brief downtime is factored into the annual estimate.
Very little. Panels have no moving parts. An occasional check and keeping them reasonably clear is usually all it takes, and we’re here if anything needs attention.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Jen Silver founded Roofing Utah in 2019. By then she’d already spent years in the Utah roofing business, starting out on the phones in inside sales and working her way up to general manager of a local roofing company, where she nearly doubled its annual sales in under two years.
She built Roofing Utah to be a contractor homeowners could count on from the first call to the final walkthrough. Today it’s one of the fastest-growing roofing companies in Utah, and Jen is a founding member of Women-Owned Businesses of Northern Utah.
