If a repair doesn’t hold, it wasn’t really a repair. So we look for what’s actually causing the leak instead of just covering the spot that’s easiest to reach. We use the right materials and install them properly, so the next rainstorm isn’t a reason to worry.

Clear answers, no runaround.
If you’re staying long-term, often yes. It can last twice as long as asphalt and sheds snow well. If you’ll move in a few years, asphalt is usually the smarter money.
Less than people think. With solid decking and proper underlayment, a modern metal roof is far quieter than the old barn-roof reputation suggests.
Metal sheds snow the best and resists ice dams well. A properly built asphalt roof with good underlayment and ventilation also handles our winters fine, so it’s not a dealbreaker either way.
It can. Buyers see a roof they won’t have to replace, plus the modern look. Asphalt is more expected, so it’s less of a selling point but also less of a concern.
Sometimes, but it’s not always the right move. We’ll inspect the deck and tell you honestly whether an overlay is fine or a tear-off is the better long-term choice.

Jen Silver founded Roofing Utah in 2019. By then she’d already spent years in the Utah roofing business, starting out on the phones in inside sales and working her way up to general manager of a local roofing company, where she nearly doubled its annual sales in under two years.
She built Roofing Utah to be a contractor homeowners could count on from the first call to the final walkthrough. Today it’s one of the fastest-growing roofing companies in Utah, and Jen is a founding member of Women-Owned Businesses of Northern Utah.
